Electrophysiological examinations play a central role in the diagnosis of suspected ALS. J. Koch (University Medical Center Göttingen), S. Petri (Hannover Medical School), J. Wolf (Diako Mannheim) and D. Zeller (University Hospital Würzburg) have conducted a survey at the centers of the ALS/MND network (MND-NET) to determine the status quo of electrophysiological examinations. This was used to develop a harmonization of examination methods.

The resulting new recommendations were agreed with all centers of the ALS/MND network (MND-NET). Thieme-Verlag kindly provides readers of this website with the link to the e-article free of charge.
